Pros

Weekly pay
easiest job I've ever had
high turnover rate makes for quick advancements. my area manager was only with the company 3 yrs

Cons

1 van driver working multiple 10-14 hour shifts every work day...if there is work
doesn't pay first and last travel hours.
minimum wage waiting time. you clock out and wait for the slow ones
driver only stops for food if he wants
no 15 min breaks
only a 30 min lunch break regardless of how long the days are
unorganized

Advice to Management

pay people more and you'll keep your employees

I have been working at WIS International part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Getting to travel throughout New England and spending time in hotels. Going to different malls that I've never been to. Don't have to drive to every job in your own vehicle unless you want to, because they have company vehicles. Get paid weekly instead of bi-weekly.

    Cons

The higher your CPH (counting per hour) the more hours you get. Employees should get hours based on their availability, not how fast you can count. You can have two jobs one week, and zero the next. Or if you're a really good counter you could have 5+ a week depending on what inventories are going on and how many people are needed.

    Advice to Management

If you say you do evaluations every 6 months, then you should do them every six months. I've been employed by this company for 3 years and only had one. People shouldn't be excluded from getting raises just because they missed a day of work, or because their CPH is lower than average. Instead of putting out Help Wanted Ads, you should give more hours to the employees that you have. Training should be done in a store instead of the WIS office. Supervisors/managers should pay more attention to the road and less to their phones.
