Pros

This is a good place to begin learning about some of the benefits of healthcare electives.

Cons

No real professional development is available. Strategy is more focused on putting out fires rather than taking a proactive stance. Departments are stand alone (really alone!) and no efforts are exercised to unify departments or communicate effectively.

Advice to Management

Recoginze the talent you already have on staff. Make more efforts to professionally develop those on board to reduce attrition. Solicit ideas and feedback from those experts--they really have good ideas. Make your employees feel valued.

I worked at WageWorks full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good for employees looking for entry level positions. Variety of jobs and growing company.

    Cons

Executives get paid well and get large bonuses. HR is inexperienced and is self-motivated. Lower ranks work hard and do not get much in the way of perks. They seem to let good employees leave and keep the bad employees.

    Advice to Management

Change the culture and train Management.

I worked at WageWorks full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good Benefits and for the most part hard working people supporting management.

    Cons

Corporate knew but did nothing to terminate bad manager which sent a clear message to others to deal with it or quit. They don't care about losing good people! Corporate staff are too fragmented and spend way too much time creating burdensome processes with pages and pages of instructions...gee it's only flex benefits not rocket science!

    Advice to Management

When you know someone is bad and continuously does wrong things that are documentable terminate them immediately as this sends the wrong message especially when the person continues to work there! Doesn't say much for company that keeps people employed who are that bad .
