Current Employee - Service Clerk/Photo Technician in Knoxville, TN
Current Employee - Service Clerk/Photo Technician in Knoxville, TN
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Benefits package for full-time employees (30 hours or more averaged of 12 weeks), Dental provided in package, Retirement and investment opportunities provided to employees, Provides health insurance to domestic partners as well. When the company is not in a hiring freeze, it is fairly easy to transfer from one store to another or from district to district.

    Cons

They are trying to save money by cutting employee hours and not filling some positions once they become vacant so they can move other employees around to plug the gaps. They are trying to do more and more with less and less.

    Advice to Management

We really need you to be more employee centric again. As a retail facility it all comes down to customer service and experience. One way to ensure both is to have the right people and make them happy. Over time the good employees may leave and if they don't leave their level of job satisfaction will drop. Nothing will ruin a customer service experience more than an employee who doesn't see it as anything more than a job.
