No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Walgreens full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

flexible hours, decent pay, decent benefits

Cons

occasionally a rude customer will ruin your day, but you learn to get used to it.

Advice to Management

Managers need to spend more time working and less time "checking" on you every 5 minutes.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Walgreens full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Prescriptions will always be a necessity, so some job security is there.
    Plenty of locations nearby.
Usually have a fair rotation for holiday work schedule.

    Cons

Changes left and right, none positive for store employees. No OT, except for the pharmacists. Cuts, more cuts, and more cuts. This isn't the Walgreens I joined over a decade ago.
Hires cashiers barely over minimum wage and wonder why no one stays or is any good.

    Advice to Management

We know you don't care about store employees. Stop making it worse by sending out pamphlets that say you do. Every time there's another cut, here comes some poster that says "Keep a smile on your face."
