I worked at Walgreens full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

My co-workers were cool, nonchalant and friendly. Some of the management is very professional and kind and answers any questions needed.

    Cons

The position was full-time but the wage pay was ridiculiously low. I did basically everything in the store and was paid a measely $8.00 an hour. Did not like the 30 minute breaks. Should be an hour.

I have been working at Walgreens as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Being an intern while attending pharmacy school helps in learning the system, understanding what
is expected of you once you become a pharmacist, and becoming more comfortable with the fast-paced, high-stress environment of a retail pharmacy.

    Cons

Sometimes can get pretty stressful because pharmacists are expected to fill each prescription in 15 minutes. Having high volume of patients, getting each prescription ready in 15 minutes can be
    challenging.
