I have been working at Walgreens full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Salary, flexibility of schedule, job security

Cons

They don't look out or take care of their people anymore. Expect you to do so much more now with a lot less resources than they gave you in the past.

Advice to Management

Remember what it was like at store level if you were even there since you don't promote everyone from within anymore. The new labor model is far from accurate unless you goal is to have poor store condition.

I have been working at Walgreens full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

guaranteed 40 hours per week.... a good opportunity if you want to move up in the company or become a manager with a better company.... this position will look really good on your resume.

    Cons

you have to wait a year for benefits, and vacation.... your sick days start after six months. Alot of information to learn in such a small amount of time but not paid enough. You do the same job as the assistant managers and get paid way less. Your abilities are limited such as you can't look up customer info etc.
