I have been working at Walgreens full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Plenty of opportunities to help customers improve their lives.

    Cons

Poor pay, worsening benefits, currently undergoing a restruction where incentives to advance are unequal with the added responsibility.

    Advice to Management

Treat your people right, but also treat them fairly. One person getting every weekend off for years tends to make everyone else in the store feel like they are less valued, or somehow less desirable.

I have been working at Walgreens full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can become a nationally certified pharmacy technician through Walgreens.
Easy ability to float to different stores, if possible.
    Health benefits aren't too bad.

    Cons

The company can fluctuate hours monthly.
There's constant new expectants to complete, but they cut hours to maximize profit so it's hard to get them done.
There is no set time allowed for proper training (company cut that), sometimes you are just thrown into the mix.

    Advice to Management

Stay at a store for a day and see whether or not hours should be cut instead of looking at numbers. It could just be the sales are down because there's not enough help for people and they leave without making a purchase out of frustration.
