I worked at Walgreens part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Flexible schedule, lots of learning opportunities, convenient location for commute from home or school. Never felt like I was dragging in.

Cons

Location near commuter station meant lots of customers came in expecting "valet" type service - oh could you get me this, and run because my train is in 3 minutes

Advice to Management

None - I shared my opinions before leaving. Not sure if it made a difference for current employees.

I worked at Walgreens full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good coworkers, entry level pay decent, good start for post college grads

    Cons

Very little advancement opportunity unless you kiss up well, reviews are nonexistant

    Advice to Management

Focus on what works and have better inventory control. Stop being cheap and spend more money on labor (useful labor at the store level)

I have been working at Walgreens full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's not that difficult day-to-day work

    Cons

it can get a little boring and stressful with the older customers, some of them are actually crazy because of some insane asylum that they had and got rid of in the area.

    Advice to Management

If you focus on what's important, it all works out.
