Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Walgreens full-time

Pros

Profit Sharing, multiple options for health insurance, relatively decent pay. Don't have to work too hard and you get to know your customers.

Cons

Store leadership positions are not secure. Changed the same position three times in the last two years. Pay for starting in a position is much lower. Store managers make as much as their assistants.

Advice to Management

No point. They won't listen.

I have been working at Walgreens part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They offer somewhat flexible scheduling once you start, co-workers are friendly and personable for the most part. The training process is ongoing - it's decent enough, lots of training videos and quizzes, but they do teach you what to do.

    Cons

Boring. Low pay. Pointless suggestive sells. Robotic-like interaction with customers- stock phrases like having to say "Be Well" at the end of each transaction. For all the branding we have to do, (Be well, also we have to say "welcome to walgreens" as they walk into the store, and they want each customer to hear a branded greeting 3 times while they are in the store) customers still forget what store they are in. Unenthusiastic coworkers and management.

    Advice to Management

Act like you care. You don't seem like you care, so I really don't care.
