I have been working at Walgreens full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Now part of Walgreens, there are lots of resources for projects.

    Cons

Now part of Walgreens. Fights between walgreens management and drugstore.com management.

    Advice to Management

Too far gone. Why did WAG even buy drugstore.com in the first place when they are killing it and alienating all of the key staff.

I worked at Walgreens part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Loved the home store that I was hired into. We were tight knit since most of the full-time employees were loyal to the store and company.
The evening shifts which I usually worked since I was student, weren't extremely late getting off. (Usually 1030 or 11)
I was able to work several stores provided that the managers had hours available via the "Borrowed Employee" process. (Home and 5hrs away at school)
    Profit-sharing was available for part-timers.

    Cons

Compensation. You never felt like you were paid for all of the hard work put in everyday.
Overtime was eliminated. Although I didn't often work double shifts or more than 10hrs in a day, the option was nice if I ever needed it.
Didn't like the built-in janitorial duties that were imposed on employees.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the people in charge of employees aren't lazy and incompetent.
