I have been working at Walgreens full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

It's hard to get fired. You'll be let go with severance. One work from home day. Healthy Living Center.

Cons

Little work life balance. No recognition. No employee engagement. No room for growth. You're just a number. Vacation after 11 years is equivalent to what you would get starting with a different company. Horrible managers. No career development. Horrible new hire training.

Advice to Management

Change all of this...Little work life balance. No recognition. No employee engagement. No room for growth. You're just a number. Vacation after 11 years is equivalent to what you would get starting with a different company. Horrible managers. No career development. Horrible new hire training.

I worked at Walgreens full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Pay for ASM is better than most companies

    Cons

Really depends on manager you work for, last manager I was with was a jerk.
When I first started with company it was very employee friendly now it is all about bottom line and employee satisfaction is now at the bottom of the list.

    Advice to Management

Happiness at work depends on manager you work with, I have worked with three, 1 great, 1 good, and 1 bottom of the barrel.
