I have been working at Walgreens part-time

    Pros

25% discount on Walgreens brand and 15% on everything else besides the obvious. Plus, some great discount on the Walgreens employee website such as free passes to museum, discount on hotels, amusement parks, car rentals, and cell phone service.

    Cons

Low pay(below $9 an hour even after 3 years), working closing 4:30pm-10:30pm then open the next morning 8am-4:30pm, lots of task to do with so little time and resources, hours avg 12-15 per week for part timers regardless of sonority, and not much experience in other departments of the store.

    Advice to Management

This is directed towards corporate more than store manager: pay your employees a decent living wage, listen to our problems and not just on company profit, we are the backbone to Walgreens and we ought to be treated as if we are life or death to the company, which ultimately we are!
