    Pros

Experience in several fields under one title. (For example, as a service clerk, you gain cash handling, customer service, inventory, and warehouse skills). Many opportunities to make a customer smile

    Cons

Poor communication between its employees at ALL levels. Lack of teamwork. Lack of opportunities in advancement. Employees who take initiative are frowned upon. "Good" Customer Service is the limit. "Great" or "too good" is unacceptable.

    Advice to Management

I can't speak for EVERY Walgreens because each district has its own manager, but to the New Orleans District Manager; Never hire people that you intend on disliking. Its very upsetting I have worked in five of the New Orleans District stores and each store has internal problems. At least 70% of the employees there dislike the job but insist on staying due to the economy and lack of jobs available in the New Orleans area. This Definitely affects customer service, sales, and productivity.

    Pros

it was great working close with the asst manager and the store manager was great with employees. the hours are good and there is lots of different tasks to be done so your days go by fast. u get to work at you own pace most of the time.

    Cons

lots of drama from the asst managers. too many college students work there so it seems like a couple of employees take one the work of the team.

    Advice to Management

    hire more serious employees
