Pros

The associates really are your Walmart family, I have so many walmart sisters and brothers, and children over the years that I still stay in touch with.

Cons

No thanks for doing a good job, and I don't mean monetary, just the simple words would be enough. So much poor attitude could be changed with a kind word, both hourly and salaried associates.

    Pros

Employee discount card after 3 months of HARD WORK

    Cons

Hired as cashier along with 3 other "cashiers". Ended up stocking groceries all night. You must be physically busy doing something every minute you're on the clock. Socializing with coworkers is not allowed unless youre on lunch or break. Costly but crappy medical benefits. Was told had to work for a year to qualify for benefits if part time. Now I'm told they discontinued all part time benefits. After all, they only cleared 3.9 billion dollars last year!

    Advice to Management

Management operates under the fear of being reprimanded by upper management and pass that onto associates. I've never see people work so hard for so little reward. It's really sad.
