I have been working at Walmart

    Pros

It's fortune 1. It's a secure company with a lot of money and a lot of growth. They really do try to take care of jobs. They are great when it comes to executing an initiative. The culture is relaxed and nonhierarchical which help you get your work done.

    Cons

The company is too new and there are few established processes to help identify and advance talent. Management doesn't know how to develop people. The company pays bare bones for great talent and management doesn't know how to evaluate performance and often, high potentials are over looked.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    It’s very fun catching shoplifters!

    Cons

Working weekends and holidays and nights! Also dealing with shoplifters with guns. There’s a lot of danger involved in this job!! Can’t be scared to deal with some bad individuals.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Walmart full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

Decent pay Many associates, easy to “fly under the radar” if you want. Easy to excel as there are many who don’t care to; excellence gets mgt attention.

    Cons

Not great pay, increases come in small increments Erratic hours make life difficult

    Advice to Management

Lead by example CBWA Show some care and concern for your associates and they will work hard for you!
