I worked at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

Pros

The company believe in training and building up their employees. They want to see you succeed as an employee and will invest their time and money to train you properly with pay. Great work environment. Lots of entry level and professional job opportunities. Many opportunities to grow within the company. Great Management team.

Cons

Not that many cons. Great work place but salary managers have to work long hours a day but don't get paid for overtime work.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work.

I worked at Walmart full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Making friends with my co-workers is probably the only good thing, I can say about Walmart.

    Cons

If you want to work your way up you pretty much have to suck up to management in order to get it, I've tried three times to get promoted twice for a CSM, and once for a Department Manager position. Which is not how it's supposed to be. They are trying too hard to be like Amazon, which will not make Walmart better in the slightest. Instead they should be focused more on properly training the managers, and promoting who deserves it! The employees get treated poorly, and so employees don't put everything into their job. I don't hold any grudges toward Walmart, but I don't like where they are headed.
