Large, stable company. Decent benefits

Weekends, holidays and 24/7 schedules

Advice to Management

Deal with problems rather than fudging the numbers just to look good on paper.

    Pros

    Stability
    Prices on goods are great

    Cons

    No management team work
    Arrogant and sometimes incompetent management.

    Advice to Management

    Get management teams to work as a total store team.
    Some managers do not care. Identify and fix.
    Some managers do not practice CBWA or servant leadership
    Follow the guidelines on the wire; do not try to make up different ways to do IMS
    Shelf Caps are set at shelf capacity for instance, not case pack!

    Things are easy when everyone loves you.

    Cons

    You're screwed if you transfer to a different store and you can't make friends with management

    Advice to Management

    listen to your employees, don't make them feel like you don't care about them. Don't talk down to them like the are inferior to you. And when they say they need help or more training to complete a task. Give it to them don't just tall them you'll get with them later and never talk to them again.
