    I worked at Walmart part-time

    Pros

Walmart has a bad reputation. That much is obvious. But for students or any other part-time job seekers, it's not bad at all. On with the pros:

Flexible hours. Very accommodating to individual needs.

No shortage of hours. During my time there as a part time employee, I was only scheduled for less than 30 hours on one week, and that was my first week on the job.

Better starting pay than theaters, fast food, etc.

    Cons

They do a poor job training you. You sit in a room with computers mindlessly clicking through online training programs for three days, then when you get to your actual position, you have no idea what to do. Managers are often unwilling to help train on the job.

    Advice to Management

More hands-on training, less computer training.

    Cons

can be very very busy during holidays.
