    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The recruiters talk a good game. the actual empolyment situation is far different. The values that Sam Walton had found the company on and lived by, are no where to be found in the current corporate environment. The down turn in the company sales are a direct reflection of the operation of the retail stores. Sam Walton would be appalled to see what his company has become

    Cons

the way the company treats people is unreal. the is a reason that so much is being written about unfair labor practices throughout the company. It is unprofessional and inappropriate to constantly threaten employees jobs, when the problem is that managers are not taught or held accountable to bring a positive expereience for their emplyees

    Advice to Management

Live by the 3 Tenets that Sam Walton founded the company on. Actionable processes not lip service.
Secret shop your stores personally, to get the real situation out in the stores, you are in for a surprise.
