    I worked at Walmart full-time

    Pros

Fast paced agile environment. Lots of great projects and initiatives to work on. Tech managers, PMs, product owners know their stuff. Great upbeat atmosphere.

    Cons

Some initiatives aren’t truly championed or supported as they should be, such as CI/CD, agile team training. Lots of initiatives are geared towards holidays, so be prepared to support some holiday work.

I worked at Walmart for less than a year

    Pros

Friendly coworkers willing to teach you the ropes. Given an issue and trusted to solve it. Not given a huge amount of guidance, free to creatively resolve. Incredible managers that will help if asked.

    Cons

Not always respected. Not a lot of structure to the position.
