I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Walmart's good prices attract customers. Profit made through volume.

    Cons

Don't offer full 40 hr week for many hourly employees; benefits suck; raises are pennies, like 10 cents, 15 cents etc... Reverse racial discrimination in full force. Managers bully employees are rude and lack professionalism.

    Advice to Management

This corporation makes millions every year. How about passing on some of that prosperity to the worker bees. Your wages are horrible and you expect employees to be happy ??

I have been working at Walmart as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

High average starting salary, three days on three days off rotations.

    Cons

work long hours 12 plus a day on call, pressure and stress are always at a high, the company wants unrealistic, unattainable, time bound goals to be completed with out fail. company does not provide the necessary tools to get the job accomplished.

    Advice to Management

need to think more Pro associate lets take a step back and remember Sam Walton's beliefs and values to his Associates.
