I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

There are numerous opportunities for advancement if you can break through the politics. It can be rewarding work at times.

Cons

Like I said in the title there is little direction or encouragement from management. If you can break through and be self taught you can succeed.

Advice to Management

Spend more time mentoring and developing those who have a desire to succeed.

    It's a job
The company I have not another word to speak of. They have some pretty awesome employees,

    Cons

The company doesn't give two shits about their employees, only the almighty bottom dollar.

I have been working at Walmart part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My co-workers are the only reason I'm still here. I guess It takes a certain type of person to be able to tolerate Wal-Marts current working environment. Everybody here seems to be just like me!

    Cons

Can't get more than 31 hours per work week. Bi-weekly pay check is between $197.00 and $238.00.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring all these new people who are going to have to be trained to do what your current employees already know how to do!
