I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Not hard work really overall.

    Cons

I was told many different ways to do one job. If you weren't doing it they way of whichever manager walked up, they would say you were wrong.
Also while being trained, I was told they were sticking me with someone for 5 minutes and they never came back for me!

    Advice to Management

Get together and figure it out.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Awesome corporate culture and years of experience in the home office.

    Cons

Hard transition if you are not from the South. Moved from west coast and had to get used to the different way people communicate.

    Advice to Management

Continue to take risks, especially with the MLP's. The more homogeneous the group, the worse it will be for the company. Diversity of thought is just as important as ethnic diversity.
