I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Not a lot of pros. Opportunity to advance or change positions. Can work longer hours than the regular staff. Discount is a plus. You can lose weight because you run around a lot.

    Cons

Management stresses an open door policy but don't give you the time to discuss. Very limited training. No access to research yourself since you cannot be on the computer system unless you are on the clock.

    Advice to Management

    Train your staff.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Set hours 7-4 5 days a week. Excellent benefits. Great management. Promotions and opportunities by job performance not seniority.

    Cons

Employees that have no concern for customers. People kept around who are just nasty to everyone.

    Advice to Management

Only advice I'd give is if you have a supervisor that has more employees quit or ask for transfer maybe you could get rid of that person instead of losing good employees worth ten times as much as that supervisor.
