I worked at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

Pros

The pros about you learn at a fast pace also you surrounding of the shop you how good people will show you different thing the right way of performing a task

Cons

You have people in the shop or different area in the store will try to get you fire because they dont want you to move forward in your craft

Advice to Management

Always stay forcus on the product that you trying to sell commission base or not the percent rate of sale has to be at a balance or above also lead you staff in excellence be real and honest will alway try to solve a problem to the best of your ability other wise get a third opinion to help you on the situation so the problem will be solve

    Pros

    Hard work will get you promoted, no formal education required. If you do as your told and follow the rules, you will not have many problems.

    Cons

    With over 1 million employees, you feel like a number. Your ideas and opinions are listened to but normally your supervisors still does what they want.

    Advice to Management

    50 to 60 hours is normal, so your pay rate per hour lower than some other retail management jobs.
