I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

It offers benefits to my same sex partner and me in a state that does not recognize us as a couple.

Cons

The pay is not that great in general, but compared to everyone else in our town it a little high than most retail positions.

Advice to Management

Quit fighting with each other about what shift is right and work together to take care of your customers better.

I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent hours, easy to keep busy throughout the day.

    Cons

Sometimes hard to talk to managers. They never really seem interested in anything unless it benefits them.

    Advice to Management

Don't have much advice but to be more social with employees.

I worked at Walmart part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They had flexible hours, pretty good training, meetings all of the time to motivate staff, you can buy toilet paper there.

    Cons

Time off policy leaves a little to be desired. Not enough compensation for the work that is required. NO advancement. You have to work a year to get benefits.
