I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Love the NWA area. Both Company and Community are very family friendly. The pay isn't bad when you factor in the cost of living for the area.

Cons

Poor managment. I've rarely felt micro managed, but I've also rarely felt managed. Yearly evals are a joke. There's very little motivation to push yourself except for personal growth and career development. ISD is ran by third-parties.

Advice to Management

There are three things that are currently driving me away from ISD...
   1. Middle Management (not sure what value they provide for the company)
   2. Third-parties and outsourcing everything
   3. Seeing people above me that know less and do less

Great employees to work with and greatful for work opportunity

    Cons

I got ignored by most of the managers and my chances to advance seem very slim

    Advice to Management

When I started I was told I can advance to any department I choose but nothing never happened and another employee get choosing over me.

  2. "I have an "Ok" experience working at this company"

    Pros

Lots of career opportunities, easy way to move up to the company

    Cons

You get pulled all the time to work to a different area of the store because it's always understaffed, lots of inconsiderable managers, cuts hours all the time to compensate the money they have to pay for holiday pays.

    Advice to Management

Remember that you guys started low like the regular associates. Don't change and act rude and act to bossy just because you got promoted to be an assistant manager, Co managers, etc.
