I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

the work experience is very well defined in terms of responsibilities and expectation. You are never in doubt with regard to what is expected of you.

Cons

Include, somewhat inflexible scheduling. Also it can be difficult to balance all of the tasks that are randomly assigned to you with the basic responsibilities of your position.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    It's a job for now.

    Cons

If the Z manager over your department don't like you, they will get you demoted. 3 Lawn n Garden department managers have come and gone with the ONE Z manager. I was asked to step down because of the Z. Over 30 years in my computer career and 3 years with Walmart, I never ever got disciplined because of my work. I got coached because of the Z because for some reason she didn't like me or the other 3 former Department Managers. You can go above and beyond for Walmart and still it's not good enough.

    Advice to Management

Unrealistic expectations from upper management to the Z, Management needs to know that not ONE person can do everything. They cut our full time hours to 35-32 hours and still except everything to be done. Treat employees like how you would want to be treated. Their open door policy is actually closed door. Schedule people when the work load is high instead of having no help.
