I worked at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Move around and learn different things, discount on merchandise, benefits. Great to work here if you love to shop.

Cons

Not enough pay for work put in, benefits not available till after one year of working, will hardly work with you on schedule. Not a career job but great as a job.

Advice to Management

Share some thank yous and show some respect to the people that work under you.

I worked at Walmart part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The scheduling process is somewhat flexible. Growth opportunities are there for you if you're a motivated worker.

    Cons

Low pay, high stress, horrible customers, and a very sophomoric workforce, as they're provided with little training. The working conditions can be pretty bad sometimes--upper management once forced a pregnant woman to move some pallets in the back room, resulting in a miscarriage. Pay raises are below inflation rates if you're an outstanding worker, and even worse if you're at all less than outstanding, so the longer you work there, the less money you make.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees a bit more. Some of the micromanaging is rather silly.
