I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

So much opportunity in this company. If you work hard, have a high level of integrity, and are dependable, you will do fine. I recommend this company to anyone that is willing to do what it takes to serve the customers

Cons

The one downside is the quality of the assistant managers. Sometimes nice people get promoted, but don't have the leadership skills necessary to be successful.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Benefits are good, pay is competitive. The company does truly save people money so they can live better. Work hard and most people will have the opportunity for advancement.

    Cons

Politics, diversity sometimes is more important than qualified, entitlement amongst employees. Several bad leaders.

    Advice to Management

Hire on experience and work ethic, not diversity. Stop being afraid to be sued. Hold people equally accountable. Listen.

I worked at Walmart full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Training was paid, good pay, benefits were good. Great leadership and always willing to teach. If you work hard your work will get noticed at least for an hourly associate

    Cons

Having to make sure you take a break by a certain time, sometimes you get busy and lose track of time resulting in getting a coaching. Not getting days off in a row
