    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Their pay is competitive but this is undermined by poor benefits. I would say that their job security is a pro because at least my experience with Walmart is that you have to be an idiot to get fired and you don't need to worry about being laid off.

    Cons

Walmart is fueled by propaganda. Good philosophies that Sam Walton used to start Walmart are continuously drilled into the management but these philosophies are not followed in practice. Walmart touts its charitable deeds but only shows charity to its employees when they are in critical need.

    Advice to Management

Upper management could try to reflect what they have their area managers doing for the hourly associates. Examples of this would be appreciating them and excepting their differences of opinion without being passive aggressive.
