I have been working at Walt Disney Company full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Some great consultants to work with.

Cons

Politics everywhere. Especially, within the Corporate HQ in Burbank. You have better do a good job so your boss does not have to do anything. However, you have better not do too good of job and make him or her look bad. Got the picture? This is why everything takes forever to complete.

Advice to Management

Get rid of the dead beat! They are holding Disney hostage and inhibit growth for the company. Some middle management layers are actually getting rid of the competent to disguise their own ineptitude.

I worked at Walt Disney Company as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

A great experience where you can make friends for a lifetime, strong connections with you management team, and get your foot into the door of one of the largest companies of the world. Whether you want to work for in their media networks, parks and resorts, Walt Disney studios, consumer products, or Disney interactive, this is one of the best ways is through starting small as a college program participant.

    Cons

The hours are long, the pay is minimal, and some days you may be under-appreciated by guests. You have to keep in mind you are there to learn from the best, what you're gaining more than anything is the experience,

I worked at Walt Disney Company as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Disney is definitely a fun place to work for a little while until the inefficiencies and incompetent management become unbearable.

    Cons

As an "intern", unless you are majoring in hospitality, you benefit nothing from the internship except for all the hours you can ask for at minimum wage.

    Advice to Management

Know what you are talking about and don't be afraid to admit you are wrong/ask suggestions. Also, dont feel that becoming a Disney manager makes you a demi-god.
