I have been working at Walt Disney Company as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful culture, fun place to work, excellent culture, lots of networking opportunities.

    Cons

Enormous company means lots of politics. Individual teams on specific LOBs can have their own internal disfunction.

    Advice to Management

    Lead, don't manage.

I have been working at Walt Disney Company as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Our team supported and communicated with each other. QA learned from the developers and developers learned from QA so that the sprint could be delivered on time with quality.

    Cons

Agile is still evolving. The effort was divided among many groups, and coordination delivery of interlocking software made environments very unstable.

The reorganizations and loss of key people because contracts expired made the effort challenging.

    Advice to Management

Study what worked and let the teams find their own strengths and solutions.
