- Range of experience is good. If you're looking to move up in parks/resorts attractions like this will benefit you more than thrill rides that seem fun to work - Hazard Pay is $1 more than other attractions - Unique work environment. No other park or zoo has an experience where, with no background, you could do this - For Animal Care / Conservation Educators this is a great stepping stone in your career. Former safari cast are now Managers, Coordinators in Education, and all over the AZA (Association of Zoos & Aquariums)
Cons
- Huge team, nearly 300 cast members (employees). If theme parks are making you feel like a number not a value then this may not be the place where you shine - Becoming a trainer / a coordinator (like a team lead) doesn't pay much more for the added work
