    Negative Outlook

I worked at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Decent job security and pay.

    Cons

Very limited advancement and training opportunities. Support personnel are expected to do everything for customers. New contract lab techs. are not fully trained in how to obtain access support services. Plenty of work but not enough workers. Practically no team work among support sections. Management throws support personnel into running a program with no training, support, or assistance but will slam them when things go wrong. Management only looks out for themselves.

    Advice to Management

    Support and train your employees.
