Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment full-time (More than a year)

Pros

The work is fun and challenging. The people are great.

Cons

The studio goes through annual layoffs. Sometimes it is more often than that. They layoff people whenever a title is ready to launch. The pay is lower than other nearby studios.

Advice to Management

Plan ahead so you have something to do with all these people when a project ends. There is no need to go through massive hires and layoffs every year when a little planning will save you all that time, money, and reputation.

I have been working at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Relatively young team with many having a lot of impact
    - High potential to ship and evolve games with WB, DC (soon possibly AT&T) in coming years
    - Open to new AAA game sales structures, VR, and potentially other tech and game areas
    - Strong partnership and increasingly good relation with most other WB game developers
    - Potential to create WB/DC flagship titles
    - Team is strong in both tech and design
    - Good social and employee programs
    - Mostly experienced, good managers in a relatively flat structure

    Cons

    - Company had to re-boot and cancel a lot around end of 2016 although this means new tech and refreshing new opportunities
    - Studio still needs to ship its own first big title (still it is on the way there)

    Advice to Management

    - Encourage team and inter-departmental communication even more than at present
    - To support retention and career have a deeper look into employee potential and trainings and/or know-how exchange with teams and Studios in employees main areas of Expertise and weak areas

    Cons

As trouble shipping games and small bonus.
