I worked at Washington Redskins as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Able to work on several projects including several television shows and multiple online packages/pieces.
    - Staff are very knowledgeable on Adobe Suite and video production. Learned a good amount about video production with my time in at RBN
    - Credentials for access in press box and field access for game day
    - Business Casual setting in office, Polos and khakis most of the time
    - Meet some current and former Redskins Players

    Cons

    - Small work space shared by minimum of three people at a time. Two work stations with Mac machines and a plastic table with two laptops set up.
    - Will be asked to fulfill part-time employees duties with out receiving any sort of compensation, even if it means a 9-12 hour day. Only offer unpaid internship.
    - Have to be able to provide your own transportation to both games and work days at facilities.

    Advice to Management

Compensate interns if they fulfill part-time or full-time employee duties that are not responsibilities of interns. Because the internship is unpaid, do not ask for interns to spend full-time employee duration shifts at the job. Limit shifts to 3-6 hours at a time.
