    Doesn't Recommend

I have been working at Waterbury Hospital full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There really are no pros since Prospect bought the hospital. Between the mandatory biometric screenings or penalty to insurance to an environment with no morale. It's only surviving because employees have genuine desire to help and heal.

    Cons

Numerous cons; high cost mediocre coverage for insurance, auto enrolled all employees in 401k and doesn't match, little to no raises for non-union employees. When there are raises its 2% for everyone except administration who gets 20%

    Advice to Management

Advice to management is create an environment that promotes growth and advancement. Don't wait until a department is transient before evaluating wages. It's cheaper and more beneficial keeping quality employees who do the job well rather then constantly training a new employee every few months
