Pros

Weatherford will expose you to cutting edge technology and diversity in the work place. Management is professional and well structured.

Being a Field Engineer you have to be ready to be gone from home at a short notice with little knowledge of when you'd be back. Schedules are not regular and are dependent on job availability.

Advice to Management

    Pros

    Excellent training opportunities, and facility.
Supportive of innovation, creativity, and promotion of continuos improvement.
    Supportive & top notch GM

    Cons

Long hours = significantly lower salary when computed to an hourly rate.
Some bad & abusive directors that made life pitifully miserable.
Too many unnecessary reorganizations that creates more instability which only hurt the workers and morale.

    Advice to Management

The "good ol' boy" network in senior leadership needs to go. Someone up near the top is not connected with reality of what is happening at lower levels and is costing the company.
Create and promote the use of the company's ethics & compliance phone line to get employee opinions or hold a survey.

managers views are still in the 80's. Truck drivers personality, rude, to workers and favoritism is there! they promote who they like not based on experience.

    Advice to Management

Go to management classes to learn how to speak and treat your employees. Stop using profanity! who wants to come to work to hear that everyday! Employees are people!
