I have been working at Web.com full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Mostly pleasant co-workers, relatively easy to move up or transfer departments, great HR team, clean workplace, decent entry-level pay (extremely "entry-level"), stock options and decent benefit plans, annual parties and company events, decent "perks", overall fun place to work

Cons

Upsell requirements in most departments for a mostly dated & lacking (by today's standard) product, outgrowing building (employee lounge (which wasn't half bad) has been replaced by a classroom, not many other "amenities" that many other tech companies provide, poor management in some departments, very little or no training for most departments (they expect you to know your skill, which is understandable)

Advice to Management

Listen to your little people/people on the front lines more... they know more about what's going on than you think and have some tremendous ideas and solutions to some very big problems.

I have been working at Web.com full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

great work environment, relaxed atmosphere in my dept, growing company, great place to get your foot in the door of internet marketing & other internet services.

    Cons

pay is below industry avg, raises seem to not be that common, poor inter-department communitcation, monthly incentive levels seem to always be adjusted to be harder to hit, even with lower salaries we still have to contribute to health benefits.

    Advice to Management

Attract talented employees and retain the ones you have by at least paying industry average salaries, possibly offer immediately vested stock grants, not just options, so employees feel more connected to the company. Provide full benefits without the employee having to contribute to them as a way to raise the value of compensation packages. Not asking for tons of money, just pay an average wage please!
