No opinion of CEO

I worked at Weight Watchers full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

WW Meetings in the office, knowledge and awareness of a great brand

Cons

WW is run based on politics, not skills. It's all about who you know and who you have worked with in the past.
Revenue is put before process and in turn, the day-to-day is chaotic.

Advice to Management

Think about who you are putting in what key roles, make sure they have the background and skills to effectively lead and manage their respective team(s).

I have been working at Weight Watchers full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Working with members is what makes this job great. Seeing others succeed keeps me engaged. There is adequate training and the hours can be flexible.

    Cons

Your pay doesn't directly depend on your performance, but on the attendance and sales at the meeting. You don't have control over who attends or buys. You can encourage sales and attendance only. Your hours are dependent on what's available and there is a definite slow down at certain times of the year. Once you are an employee, it's hard to make a meeting for yourself to support your maintenance.

    Advice to Management

Make this a salaried position with commissions. The unpredictability of the income makes it hard to maintain as a full time job.
