    Pros

    Wellpoint is a large company with alot of room fo advancement especially for women. They have great benefits and they empower leaders to build diverse teams.

    Cons

    Wellpoint has a history of laying off employees who have been long term loyal and hard working employees. after just 3 years of being with the company and being involved in a merger with another PBM, I watched colleagues who had been with Wellpoint for 10, 15, 20 and even 26 years pushed out the door. Very sad to see that a company who proclaims to serve its members and provide quality care, doesn't serve its employees for take care of them.

    Advice to Management

    appreciate your loyal employees.

    Pros

    I am sorry but I cannot think of any Pros.

    Cons

    You will be micromanaged, raises and promotions are not based on your performance but on whom you are friends with. If you are a "favorite" you can get away with anything.
    This is a health insurance company, but with the insurance choices they give you for yourself, you will not be able to afford to use your insurance....

    Advice to Management

    sending out surveys on if your managers are acting ethically makes absolutely no difference if you never act on the results
