Disapproves of CEO

Pros

Great clients and tools to help them succeed financially

Cons

Too concerned with shoving a million products a client does not need down their throats. Lost the ability to do what was best for the customer when Wells Fargo took over Wachovia. Time off became hard to get, working every other Saturday and expected to make cold calls on Saturday mornings because the branches were too slow.

Advice to Management

Listen to customers and employees. Morale is low and you are losing all your best and replacing with people who do not have finance or banking knowledge.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Aggressively promoting to desired positions with heavy focus on your performance and WOW

    Cons

WOW is overrated. People get fired for not meeting company standards of perfect 80%. Sales goals are overstretched

    Advice to Management

Take time to see branch life not only through numbers on the reports and spend at least one day a year in retail branch to get the "true numbers and WOW atmosphere"

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Huge company provides lots of opportunities. Smart people. Very focused on developing best-in-class systems and resources.

    Cons

Larger size means more specialization and silos. More centers of excellence and fewer true generalist roles means that you will not get a well-rounded experience. Less of a meritocracy than before the integration.
