Approves of CEO

Pros

Great benefits and starting pay. Can move up quickly. Feeling of helping people is the best thing about the job.

Cons

Constant sales quota. Always requires staying late because of missed goals. Management always wants more and only recognizes your achievements for the first few moments.

Advice to Management

Do not make your employees do things that you say are not professional. Sales are not everything and it is not always best to get the sale.

Former Employee - Operational Risk Analyst in San Francisco, CA
    Recommends
    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Starting with the obvious - good compensation, looks good on the resume, good experience, and a variety of opportunities depending on your skillset and interests. In addition, the size of the bank allows you to develop other skills in many cases; having to coordinate different groups with diverse interests helps a great deal down the road.

    Cons

Upper management not always clear or informative, the usual pitfalls of working in a large corporate environment. Some positions can involve working with established managers you may not like working with.

    Advice to Management

Continue to develop management-employee coordination and relationships so employees don't feel like they're just along for the ride.
