I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Used to be a great place to work. Used to have great benefits. Used to value it's older employees.

Cons

Health benefits offered not great. If someone doesn't do well in the company they promote them to management instead of training them properly or simply firing them.

Advice to Management

Go back to the old ways when you used to value your employees, they are the back bone of your company. You're losing some great people because you're not willing to treat them fairly.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, 2 weeks paid vacation at start of employment, many opportunities to advance to other positions and promotions. Wells Fargo always likes to promote from within. As one of the largest corporate companies in the USA and abroad, there are many different types of employment opportunies opening up all the time. Great for long term employment. Lots of recognition.

    Cons

Must have a very flexible schedule and easily adapt to change. Changes at Wells Fargo can happen overnight. Very structured environment. As a phone banker, you must meet sales goals, while maintaining passing levels of schedule adherance, average handle time, quality assurance, and more. Failure to pass any of them will result in NO QUARTERLY BONUS CHECK. Lots of pressure to sell, sell, sell!!!

    Advice to Management

Some phone bankers may not meet all those requirements for a bonus check, but still work harder than ever. They should still receive some compensation. Those goals need to be a bit more realistic. More understanding and patience needs to be given to those who need to improve their skills. They need more support and proper training to improve.
