I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Senior management, vision, technology, client base, Conservative banking business model. Stability and compensation are ok. Solid benefits to include 401k and medical.

Cons

Micro management. Skill set of middle management suspect as best. Limited independent thought; recommendations for efficiency frowned upon. Turn over and attrition excessive even by financial services standards. Aggressive sales culture. Middle management strategy reactionary as opposed to prescriptive.

Advice to Management

When you espouse work life balance-mean it! Too much pressure to work weekends at the expense of our families.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Big company with different possibilities to move within the organization. Oportunity to move within States and still work for the same company keeping one seniority.

    Cons

Being a big company has translated into certain areas / departments not being appreciated as much as they should. Benefits, although still decent, used to be better.

    Advice to Management

Numbers are not everything. Operations has a big role and its employees should be compensated fairly and treated respectfully, plus should have incentives as the other departments have.
