I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Reasonable expectations of call center employees. Difficult to be fired unless you consistently miss in one area. There is a lot of opportunity to make lateral and upwards movement. Best starting pay from any call center job I've had or looked at.

Cons

Workforce services makes all decisions regarding absences. Call center isn't even allowed to override their decision in approving time off.

    Not too many pros, but you get to work with a lot of really good people...

    Cons

    Too much pressure to make numbers, not really worth the pay you are working for.

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employees better, they will want to work harder on their own.

    Pros

    large company with opportunities to move up. Good benefits. lots of locations so always hiring

    Cons

    WAY too focused on sales. Treats every customer as a potential target for selling them something. The customer service is good but make no mistake...this is a SALES job disguised as a customer service job. People rarely need to have multiple checking accounts but they want bankers to sell more and more checking accounts to customers whether there is a need or not. Disappointing.

    Advice to Management

    Bankers that are rewarded are the ones riding the ethical grey line. Talking people into having multiple accounts is not helping people succeed financially. Performance measurements for the banker role are NOT aligned with the company vision. Very disappointed.
