I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Co-workers, 401k match is highest in industry, Decent but not great benefits package.
Since Merger from Wachovia, employee engagement and morale has dropped massively, no more are employees "faithful" to Wells Fargo like we were with Wachovia.

    Cons

1- Extremely stressful, you must have nerves of steel to work in this environment.
2- Management and upper Mgmt. have no clue what goes on out on the floor nor do they care.
3- Health insurance keeps going up and up not worth it anymore, buy your own on the outside.
4- EVERONE seems and is miserable.... you try to stick it out but this employer truly sucks the life out of you every single minute.
5- Management and H.R. clueless, calling H.R. is like calling Dell, waste of time no knowledge. You get a different answer every time you call.
6- Internal employees moving to another internal position are maxed out at a 10% pay increase if you even get that, but an outside person will get the median wage???? Backwards, no loyalty.
7- You have no voice, just do your job and shut up. No employee engagement.

    Advice to Management

1- Come down to our level and stay in the office a while and truly connect to your team.
2- Quit laying off employees, only to re-post their job as a "temporary" position online the next week, really shows your true colors.
3- Quit wasting money....... and then crying poor.
4- Train Management on Relationship development and basic Human behavior. Managers should be required to take personality classes/testing yearly, who wants’ to work for a miserable person with no basic human interaction skills.
