I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

I was fortunate to work for some very good managers whose mission it was to see my growth and set me up to improve, all the while providing me with very honest feedback.

Cons

The lack of resources allotted to client service teams covering different market segments made it difficult to be proactive towards our clients in this role.

Advice to Management

Reassess the value of the client service teams and do not be afraid to provide honest, potentially negative feedback with an action plan for improvement, provided the client service team member wants to continue in their role and with the bank. Candid conversation is what is missing at WF.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

One of the better banks as far as starting salary goes.

    Cons

At the end of the day, there is no real difference in job positions inside the branch. The, at times, absurd push for sales and demand to produce numbers for a certain product on a daily basis does not allow for you to do your job. The micro management inside the branches is strangling to the employees on all levels.

    Advice to Management

The amount of micro management of the employees is counter productive and takes away from the ability of the employees to effectively do their jobs.

I have been working at Wells Fargo as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Very good, understanding, work environment. Would run another contract with them again in their internal tech help desk.

    Cons

Too big into stats, not enough into quality in my opinion.
