Willingness to invest in training people.
Great products and services to help customers succeed financially.
    Experience encouraged across business lines.
Many different business lines to work for.

    Cons

    Corporate politics are ever-present.
Lack of patience at upper levels for development of new markets, etc.
Rapid changes of direction that can inhibit growth.

    Advice to Management

Connect with team members at every opportunity to find out what is truly standing in the way of them completing their jobs effectively and efficiently.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, decent pay. Looks good on your resume, and you don't have to be smart to work here, because I've seen Wells Fargo hire some of the dumbest people I have ever met.

    Cons

Heavy sales pressure, de-humanizing customer service requirements, under-qualified management. Management measures employee success based solely on sales numbers; actual operational and leadership successes are not taken into account when measuring performance.

    Advice to Management

Employees lack motivation to work hard when you treat them like robots or inferiors. Also, just because a banker is good at sales does NOT make them a good manager or leader. Every manager I have had was great at sales, but had no business managing or leading others.
